Saunders Morgan-Harris was formed by Duncan Saunders and Hugo Morgan-Harris. Both are highly qualified Marine Surveyors with wide ranging expertise.
Our experience encompasses traditional timber vessels, production GRP yachts and powerboats, steel and aluminium vessels, modern high tech composite racing yachts and large complex yachts and powerboats.
Our services include Pre-purchase surveys, structural surveys, insurance surveys and claim handling, MCA Coding, Tonnage and Damage surveys and often provide expert witness evidence.
The head office is based on The South Coast by the River Hamble which is situated between Chichester and Poole. We are ideally placed to provide a prompt service to all locations on the Solent and South Coast including Christchurch, Lymington, Bucklers Hard, Hythe, Southampton, hamble, Gosport, Fareham, Port Solent, Portsmouth, Southsea, Emsworth, Bosham, Chichester, Shoreham and Brighton.
Close to the airports we often travel throughout Europe, occasionally worldwide, and have local knowledge of the many marinas in France, Italy, Portugal and Balearics and Spain.
Due to demand we have a base in the South of France between Marseille and Nice airports. This provides us with excellent access to the main marinas and ports including St Tropez, Golfe Juan, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco.
We are members of both the Yacht Brokers, Designers and Surveyors Association and the International Institute of Marine Surveyors and are actively involved with these associations.
